Tuesday 8th Pete Cottam(208) re-located the Cattle Egret on the Tiln Pig Fields in the morning.

Monday 7th Daz Housman(202) found a Cattle Egret on the small island at 'Bellmoor Lake', it was only the second record for Lound. it was also added by Ian Cowgill(218).

 

October

Saturday 15th Ken Wilson(190) Life List was brought up to date with the addition of the Yellow-browed Warbler and the Glossy Ibis. Daz Housman(201) added the Bearded Reedling on 'Neatholme Scrape'.

Friday 14th Phil Cadman(205) finally added the Glossy Ibis which was observed in flight over 'Neatholme Pit'.

Thursday 13th Gary Hobson(232), Paul Hobson(230), Pete Cottam(207), Pete Freeman(207) and Ian Hunt(199) all added the Bearded Reedlings that were observed in flight over 'Neatholme Pit'. Paul Hobson(228) also added Red Kite and Glossy Ibis.

Sunday 9th Ian Cowgill(217) recorded a small flock of Bearded Reedlings on the Eastern edge of 'Neatholme Scrape'. He then recorded a single Yellow-browed Warbler that was noted feeding in 'Chainbridge Wood NR'. Ian Hunt(198) eventually added the Glossy Ibis to his Life list at the fifth attempt.

September

Friday 30th Andy Shooter(205) moved clear into 10th place when he added the Glossy Ibis on 'Chainbridge Scrape (W)'.

Monday 26th Gary Hobson(231) increased his lead at the top of the table when he added the Glossy Ibis, it was also observed by Des Roberts(194), it was feeding on 'Chainbridge Scrape (E)'.

Saturday 24th. Stuart Davenport (225) added the Glossy Ibis which was observed feeding on 'Neatholme Scrape'.

Wednesday 14th  Tony Tomlinson(207) moved up to joint 6th place in the table with Roy Revill and Pete Cottam(206) when they both added the Glossy Ibis which was observed feeding on 'Chainbridge Scrape (E)'.

May

Thursday 27th Ian Cowgill(215) also added the Glossy Ibis as it flew North once again following the 'River Idle'.

Tuesday 25th Daz Housman(200) joined the Lound 200 Club when adding the first ever Lound record of Glossy Ibis that flew North over 'Neatholme Scrape' towards Blaco, unfortunately the bird was not re-located.

Sunday 15th Paul Hobson(229) added the Cetti's Warbler that was noted around 'Parish Park' and a single European honey-Buzzard that flew over 'Neatholme Fen'.

Friday 6th Tony Tomlinson(206) and Phil Cadman(204) observed a single European honey-Buzzard that flew North East over 'Neatholme Fen', whilst Pete Freeman(206) added the Cetti's Warbler that was noted around 'Parish Park'.

April

Friday 8th Daz Housman(199) added the single Corn Bunting that was heard singing from around the 'Tiln North Wader Scrape' area.

January

Thursday 21st  Ian Hunt(197) and Dave Hursthouse re-located the Green-winged Teal once again on the 'Neatholme Fen', it was also recorded by Des Roberts(193) and Pete Cottam(205).

Wednesday 20th Ian Hunt(196) re-located the pair of Greater Scaup on 'Neatholme Pit', they were also added to the life list of Daz Housman(198).

Tuesday 19th Pete Cottam found a pair of Greater Scaup on 'Chainbridge Pit', which Andy Shooter(204) eventually added to his Life List.

Monday 18th Phil Cadman(203) found a single male Green-winged Teal on 'Neatholme Fen', it was also observed by, Ian Cowgill (214), Tony Tomlinson (205), Andy Shooter(203) and Daz Housman (197).

Thursday 7th. Des Roberts(192) added the Marsh Tit in 'Linghurst Wood'.

Wednesday 6th. Martin Warne(183)  was the latest Lound Bird Club member to add the Marsh Tit, when a single bird was noted in 'Linghurst Wood', then two were noted a few minutes later on the Eastern end of 'Parish Park'.
