The Year List stands at 5 Recorded Species. The Reserve List has 28 Recorded Species

 

 

Friday 31st. The first 2017 Reserve sighting of a single male Orange Tip was recorded in a garden in Lound village, whilst singles of Peacock, and Brimstone were recorded on the reserve. (Pete Freeman, Phil Cadman)

 

Thursday 30th There were (4) Peacock,, (2) Brimstone and (2) Comma,  that were noted on the Reserve. (Phil Cadman, Ian Hunt)

 

Sunday 26th. There was a single Comma, that was observed settled on Brambles in 'Linghurst Wood'. (Phil Cadman, Ian Hunt)

 

Thursday 16th. There were singles of Peacock and the first 2017 Reserve sighting of a Comma that were noted around the 'Tiln Pit's' area. (Phil Cadman, Ian Hunt.)

 

Wednesday 15th. There were (2) Peacock, and a single Small Tortoiseshell that were both additions to the 2017 Year Reserve Year List and a single male Brimstone, all were recorded in 'Chainbridge Wood NR'. (Phil Cadman)

 

Monday 13th. There was a maximum total of (7) Brimstone that were recorded around the Reserve. (Tony Tomlinson, Ken Wilson, Phil Cadman,)

 

Thursday 9th. The first 2017 record of the Brimstone was recorded around 'Doughty's Pit'. (Vic Giles)
