The Daneshill Lakes NR Year List stands at 0 Recorded Species. The Daneshill Lakes Reserve List has 61 Recorded Species.

Tuesday 31st. Lound Moth Trapping Session, Linghurst Lakes, (Parish Park).

The weather was just about perfect for a late Autumn 'Moth Trapping Session', the temperature ranged from 9°C to 13°C, again there was very little wind. There were three 'Lound Moth Group' members present, Phil Cadman, Ian Hunt and Arthur Rogerson present, we set up the two Robinson 125W Moth Trap, one just inside the gate in Linghurst Lakes, the other on the track a little way East along 'Neatholme Lane'. We trapped from 19:30-22:00, there was a total of 20 Moths that were trapped of 11 different Species, of which 4 were a LBC/IVNR-Year Additions which are highlighted in Green.

Thursday 26th. Lound Moth Trapping Session 'Chainbridge Scrape (W)'.

Once again, the weather was fairly mild and calm, the temperature ranged from 9°C to 13°C. There were three 'Lound Moth Group' members present, Phil Cadman, Ian Hunt and Arthur Rogerson we set up two traps alongside the Western edge of the 'Chainbridge Scrape (W)' along 'Hawthorn Lane'. We trapped from 19:30-22:30, there was a total of 110 Moths that were trapped of 19 different Species, of which 3 were a LBC/IVNR-Year Additions which is highlighted in Green. Included were the second ever reserve recording of 70.0380 Rhodometra sacraria (The Vestal) and 73.2240 Griposia aprilina (Merveille du Jour).

 Monday 23rd. Lound Moth Trapping Session, 'Bellmoor Lake'.

The weather was mild and calm, the temperature ranged from 14°C to 15°C Phil Cadman and Ian Hunt were joined by Arthur Rogerson where we set up two Robinson 125W Moth Traps along the footpath at the Western side of 'Bellmoor Lake', one was set up in the wood, the other on the area around the Galvanised ornamental seat. We trapped from 19:15-22:15 at the Count up we discovered a 70.0380 Rhodometra sacraria (The Vestal), in the trap, it was a LBC/IVNR recording area Life List Addition. There was a total of 76 Moths that were trapped of 18 different Species, of which 1 was a LBC/IVNR-Year Additions which is highlighted in Green and 1 which was a LBC/IVNR-Life & Year Addition which is highlighted in Red.

Saturday 21st. There were singles of 15.0030 Caloptilia populetorum (Clouded Slender), 49.0710 Acleris emargana (Notch-wing Button) and 72.0170 Orgyia antiqua (The Vapourer), around the 'Bellmoor Sand Pit's' area. (Phil Cadman, Ian Hunt, Martin Warne)

Friday 6th. Lound Moth Trapping Session, Tiln Pits

The weather was dry, the temperature ranged from 8°C to 11°C. there was little wind as Ian Hunt and Phil Cadman set up their two Robinson 125W Moth Traps at the Northern end of 'Tiln Pit's' at the junction with the South end of the 'Lower Sheep Fields' track. We trapped from 19:30-22:30 catching a total of 81 Moths of 19 different species, of which 6 were Reserve Year additions.
