July 2017 Year Competition

In accordance with the LBC directive on the publication of potential sensitive breeding Species, any sensitive Species recorded by Competition members will be added to their Total, but will not appear in the Report. They can be viewed on the Members Page though.

June as usual was very slow, however, Greater Scaup, Wood Sandpiper and Red Knot were all recorded.

The Competition group member's total of 159 different Species recorded up to Monday, 24 July 2017, is 5 Species behind the Group Total record of 164 Species that were recorded to the end of July in 2012 & 2013.

The individual record total recorded to the end of July stands at 155 species, which was achieved by Daz Housman/Ian Cowgill in 2012. Daz requires another 3 Species to equal the record.
