In accordance with the LBC directive on the publication of potential sensitive breeding Species, any sensitive Species recorded by a Competition member will be added to their Total but will not appear in the Report. They can be viewed on the Members Page though.
Congratulations to Daz Housman who once again won the Lound Year List Competition for 2017, with a total of 162 recorded Species, it was the fifth consecutive year that he has won the competition.
June as usual was very quiet only a single Common Raven was recorded. See the members page for further details.
The Competition members total to date of 149 different Species recorded up to Sunday, 15 July 2018, is 15 Species behind the record total of 164 Species that were recorded to the end of July 2013.
Daz Housman requires another 12 more Species to equal the individual record of 155 Species that were recorded by himself and Ian Cowgill in July 2012 & 2013.

A Collective Total of 149 Species have been recorded up to 15/07/2018
Sunday 15th. Ian Hunt(141) added the Willow Tit around 'Neatholme Pit' and a single Common Greenshank on 'Neatholme Fen'.
Saturday 14th. Daz Housman(143) added the Willow Tit opposite 'Neatholme Fen' that Ian Cowgill had originally found.
Friday 13th. Daz Housman(142) added the juvenile Greater Scaup that had been found by Paul Hobson on 'Bellmoor Lake'.
Friday 6th Daz Housman (141) further increased his lead at the top of the table, when adding a single Common Greenshank on 'Chainbridge Scrape (E)'.
