Lound Year List Competition November 2018

In accordance with the LBC directive on the publication of potential sensitive breeding Species, any sensitive Species recorded by a Competition member will be added to their Total but will not appear in the Report. They can be viewed on the Members Page though.

 

Congratulations to Daz Housman who won the Lound Year List Competition for 2017, with a total of 162 recorded Species, it was the fifth consecutive year that he has won the competition.

 

November produced (2) Short-eared Owl's, with singles of Red-necked Grebe and a Glaucous Gull

 

The Competition members total to date of 164 different Species recorded up to Monday, 24 December 2018, is 12 Species behind the record total of 176 Species that were recorded to the end of December 2013.

 

Daz Housman requires another 10 more Species to equal the individual record of 170 Species that were recorded by Ian Cowgill in December 2011.

 

Please Note that the Barnacle Goose has been added to the Competition List of Species.

A Collective Total of 164 Species have been recorded up to 23/12/2018

 

 

Thursday 19th Phil Cadman(146) added the single Water Pipit that was noted again on 'Chainbridge Scrape (E)'.

 

Wednesday 18th Ian Hunt(148) added the single Water Pipit that was noted again on 'Chainbridge Scrape (E)'.

 

Tuesday 18th. Daz Housman(160),  added the single Water Pipit that was found by Ian Cowgill on 'Chainbridge Scrape (E)'.

 

Wednesday 12th. Daz Housman(159), added the single Marsh Tit that was heard calling along the South-East corner of 'Bellmoor Lake'.
