In accordance with the LBC directive on the publication of potential sensitive breeding Species, any sensitive Species recorded by a Competition member will be added to their Total but will not appear in the Report. They can be viewed on the Members Page though.
Congratulations to Daz Housman who won the Lound Year List Competition for 2017, with a total of 162 recorded Species, it was the fifth consecutive year that he has won the competition.
October produced a single Dark-Bellied Brent Goose, (3) Bearded Reedlings and (2) Hooded Crows.
The Competition members total to date of 162 different Species recorded up to Saturday, 17 November 2018, is 13 Species behind the record total of 175 Species that were recorded to the end of November 2013.
Daz Housman requires another 9 more Species to equal the individual record of 167 Species that were recorded by himself and Ian Cowgill in November 2013.

Friday 16th. Ian Hunt (147) and Phil Cadman(145) both added the single Short-eared Owl that was recorded as it was hunting along the South end of the 'Tiln North Wader Scrape'.
Wednesday 14th. Daz Housman(158), Ian Hunt(146) and Phil Cadman(144) all added the single Red-necked Grebe that was found by Richard Scott on 'Neatholme Pit'.
Sunday 4th. Daz Housman(157) added the single Glaucous Gull that was found by Paul Hobson on 'Bellmoor Lake'.
